Trimtec is in a very unique business of
selling fashion and upholstery trimming
through custom packaging. We make every
effort to get you the perfect trim for your
designing needs and always stand by the
quality of our products. In the event you
would like to return an item, please read
carefully our policy and processes.
Returnable items
The following items can be returned:
Merchandise sold by the piece (e.g. buttons,
handles, tassels)
Full rolls/put-ups/ and unopened packages
Damaged goods
Incorrect items
The following items can NOT be returned:
Any cut merchandise
Special ordered items
Non-returnable items sent back to Trimtec
will incur a 30% restocking fee.
Incorrect or Damaged items
At Trimtec, we are committed to selling only
the best quality trim. We inspect all of our
merchandise before it gets shipped to you.
In the unlikely event you receive incorrect
or damaged merchandise, we will gladly
replace them with new merchandise via the
same shipping method used on your original
order. If you prefer, you may use another
return shipping method at your own expense.
Please promptly return the damaged goods to
us in order to prevent double billing.
Exchanges
If you would like a different item or size,
please send us back the returnable
merchandise and place a new order.
Return with 30 days
Returns must be made within 30 days of our
invoice date. Original merchandise must be
returned and received by Trimtec before any
refunds can be processed. When your return
is received, we will issue a refund to your
credit card for the value of the merchandise
returned and sales tax, if any. We generally
do not reimburse the original shipping and
handling charge on your invoice.
Sending a Return
Along with your return, please provide us
with your order number, and the style
number, color and quantity of the item you
would like to return. A return form is
provided for you on the bottom of the order
invoice.

Getting status on a return
Once we receive your return, we credit the
appropriate amount within 3-4 weeks. You
will receive an email notifying you that
your return has been processed and the
proper amount has been credited.
Getting the Right Trim
The merchandise we carry comes in a variety
of colors and materials that cannot always
be exactly replicated on every computer
monitor. In order to alleviate some of these
problems, we have established the Trimtec
Swatch Program. Please see link to read more
